Please note. This is a service for repairing the Western Elec 300B. NOT the tube itself!!!!! I have found that there are a number of common failures in the modern USA 300B's. They simply were not built as well as the old ones. I have developed a system of reliably repairing many, many 300B's. 90% of these are 300B's that are totally dead with either no sound at all or even a dead filament (no glow to the tube). This is also true of an intermittent 300b. Also loose bases can be addressed. One that works a bit and fades in and out. However, A 300b that is simply weak, low output or shorted on a tester cannot be repaired. If you are unsure, I am happy to check and get back to you costing only $25 per tube. Any tube that cannot be repaired will cost the same thing. We would then discuss if you wish for me to ship the tube back at the customer's expense. Our success rate (if your 300B is as described above) is very high. Given the insane cost of these units these days, it is certainly worth a shot for $25 plus shipping.
