Found on a shelf at decommissioned transmitter site. Yes it is a 3X3000, not a 3CX3000. They have the same specs. The 3X is a glass and metal tube; the 3CX is a ceramic and metal tube. Box indicates it was used as a modulator tube for a Collins AM transmitter. Tube is “weak”. No inter-electrode shorts. Unable to test further. Want to experiment? Only $100.
