The tape is 1/4" on a 7" plastic reel. This tape will be at +3db (250 nWb/m).The speed is 3.75 IPS & 7.5 IPS NAB. The six frequencies of the tape are: 1 kHz, 10 kHz, 50 kHz, 100 Hz, 8 kHz & 16 kHz. Alignment tapes, aka calibration or reference tapes, are required to properly set play back on any given tape deck. The alignment tape contains various signals, and array of frequencies, that let the operator setup a tape deck for playback prior to record alignment. We are an authorized dealer of MRL Tapes, which are very reliable.
