Parts Repair Works Left Side Won’t Close Pioneer CT-X540WR Double Cassette Deck
Please read the description carefully, examine the pics closely as they are part of the description, and ask any questions before buying! PLEASE NOTE that I am not an audiophile, nor an electronics expert. I usually find these at garage sales, estate sales, thrift stores, storage lockers, etc., and I give them a general wipe down (they often can use a detailed cleaning), and I test them only as shown in the video. I never test these extensively with every feature scrutinized, nor do I open them up and inspect the interior. So, any mistakes or oversights are unintentional and I have returns if an item is not as expected and/or described and pictured, just drop me a line, I’m easy to work with…but please keep in mind these are old, used, and are basically sold as is. Caveat emptor! That being said, for your consideration… As pictured, a vintage Pioneer CT-X540WR Stereo Double Cassette Deck. It’s been tested and works on the right side as shown in the video, but the left side won’t stay closed. This one I opened up and there appears to be a missing spring, possibly more, on that side. Perhaps you can fix it? On the exterior there’s no missing or broken parts. European voltage dial on the back. It has some minor cosmetic wear. No remote or any other accessories are included. It measures about 14-1/4″ x 13-1/4″ (not including room for the cables in the back) x 4-1/2″. I would be happy to answer any and all questions, or provide more pictures if needed.
