Akai GX-4000DB Dolby System Reel to Reel Tape Deck. Made in Japan. Vintage
In used condition. May show signs of use, did get sound to come out. But probably needs a good cleaning of the switches and pots. Since this had been sitting in a basement without use for a long time. It’s in good cosmetic shape. Sold as is. Comes as pictured. Please see pics for condition
Vintage Japan Akai GX-4000D System Reel Tape Deck + Manual & X2 Sealed 35-90B
This listing is for a beautiful vintage Akai Reel to Reel player from the private collection of a wealthy collector. His items were kept in a climate controlled entertainment area and all in great condition with original manuals! This is the only item I was able to acquire myself and I don’t know much about it except for the fact that it turns on and appears to work and whatever the manual says. The unit itself is in great shape with only minor signs of age and one small chip in the wood trim on the top left corner and a tiny nick on one side panel as shown. The manual has some minor surface wear and some wiring on the back cover but otherwise is all in tact and in good condition! Included are three reels and two sealed blank 35-90B tape reels! One of the reels has tape on it but I am unsure if it’s used or not. Please refer to my images for all details before purchasing and feel free to contact me with any questions! This will be packaged carefully in a sturdy box & shipped with full insurance to help ensure safe delivery!
