No cracks, works great! It is not there. Great if your power goes out as it does take batteries. Better than using up the life of your cell phone if in certain situations.

It has been tested and works great with the plug-in, I did not have the right batteries to test it with the batteries. It is missing the handle. Antenna is perfect.
