It is a smaller version of the legendary JBL C50 Olympus, a pinnacle of JBL’s acoustic and woodworking craftsmanship, created in response to the strong demand from fans. The design and finish are identical to the Olympus, featuring a walnut finish. The front grille showcases a hand-carved JBL original lattice design. ■ About the Blue units ■ The units used in this product are the rare blue type, which were only produced for a limited period. The serial numbers of the individual units and network are either consecutive or from the same lot, ensuring the best possible pairing in terms of sound quality and sound pressure. The unit configuration follows the S7 system, using the LE15A woofer, LE85 + H91 driver horn, and LX5 network. ■ Sound Quality ■ Unlike the 00X system, which uses the 130A or D130, this system features the characteristic power and clarity of the LE15A. I found it to be a versatile system that can deliver high-resolution sound, regardless of genre, whether classical, jazz, or contemporary music. The stable low-end and the clarity of the LE85’s mid-to-high range are very pleasant to listen to, allowing for extended listening without fatigue.
