This is an exact Reproduction Tuning Knob & Set Screw for the Pioneer SX-980, SX-1080 and SX-1280. The Set screw is also new and is the exact replacement of the original equipment that originally came with the Tuning Knob. You will receive a new 1.5 Allen Wrench to mount the new knob. As original equipment for these four receiver's Knob is not anodized. This knob is an exact fit for your unit, close in size and weight! Keep in mind when you install your new knob, make sure you do not rest the knob against the Glass in the faceplate! Keep the knob distance at least 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch to prevent the knob from scratching your Glass in the face plate!! Again, this is a new remanufactured part that is guaranteed to meet or exceed the specifications of the part you are replacing.
